For the second time in the UK, Ben Kibler and Robin Cromwell will be running a unique masterclass on the scapula. They are the leading experts on the diagnosis,management, rehabilitation and surgery for complex scapula disorders and the principles of kinetic chain. In this two-day symposium they will share their wealth of expertise, knowledge and research. The Scapula Masterclass is part of the Salford Orthopaedic Series (SOS) and the format will include lectures, case presentations, discussions, demonstrations and workshops led by Ben Kibler, & Tim Uhl. |

Content Includes - Scapular mechanics in normal and abnormal function
- The role of the scapula in various types of shoulder pathology, from impingement to clavicle/A-C injuries.
- The kinetic chain mechanics and it’s effects on function and dysfunction,
- Effective dynamic evaluation of the multiple segments involved in the total body function.
- Some specific shoulder problems, such as impingement, A-C joint injury, instability, and scapular muscle detachment
- Principles of scapular rehabilitation
- Examination technique for scapular dyskinesis and kinetic chain deficits
